Frame guide

What is a photo frame, and how does it work?

A frame is a transparent image overlay placed on a photo to show support for an event, community, or cause. Campaign creators provide the design and link; participants choose a photo, adjust it, and download the result.

From artwork to participant photos

01

Prepare the artwork

Make a PNG with a transparent center so each participant's photo stays visible. Place event artwork around the edges.

02

Publish a campaign

Sign in, upload the artwork, add a campaign name and description, then share the frame page link with participants.

03

Participants add their photos

Participants open the link without signing in, choose a photo, adjust it behind the frame, then download and share the result.

02 / 03 · Transparent PNG

Why does the artwork need transparency?

The transparent area lets the participant's photo show through. A fully opaque image would hide the photo behind it. Save your artwork as a PNG that preserves transparency before uploading.

03 / 03 · Plans & watermarks

What about watermarks?

You can start using frames and downloading results for free. Whether a download has a watermark depends on the campaign creator's plan or the participant's plan; check the available plans if you need a result without one.
